Social development at the camp using experiential pedagogy

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the use of experiential pedagogy at a summer camp for children. The theoretical section deals with children's camps, experiential pedagogy, and its applications in the field of free-time pedagogy for the social development of students. The study focuses on the adaptation of new students and their relationships with future classmates at a summer camp for children aged 15 to 18. The analysis also applies to the camp program's use of experiential pedagogy methods. In summary, it appears that the new student camp assisted in the formation of multidisciplinary relationships as well as orientation in the school's climate and the establishment of rules.
On the edge - art therapy as inspiration for art education

This bachelor's thesis named : On the Edge-Art Therapy as an Inspi rati on for Art Educati on, focuses on activities and approache s which are typical for art therapy and views them through the lens of an art teacher . The theoretical part of th is thesis focuses on education: it defines the go als of education, and the rol es and competencies of a teacher. It also focuses on the specifications of the education area of Arts and culture. This knowledge is then co mpared with the concept of art therapy. The thesis names the basic objectives of this discipline and lists t he main approaches and methods used in this field. Based on these definitions, the text summarises the fundamental differences between educational and therapeutic work and researches it s analogies . Additionally, the thesis provides us with examples o f specific activities and alters them for educational needs in the form o f a brief manual. This manual contains five activities that could function as an inspiration for art teachers. The didactics of this thesis o ffers a reflection and feedback on two select ed activities that were put to the test in the 4th grade of elementary school. Theoretical and empirical thesis "Teacher and his role in the process of pupil's self- conception forming" aims to explore the theme of self-conception from the perspective of those involved in the educational process. Primarily in terms of personal and social development, whose major component is the development of self-conception of pupil. The thesis explores the possibilities and limits of teaching experience and tries to find some starting points and recommendations that can help teachers better manage claims that contemporary society places on education of children. It also seeks to give teachers a tool that would simply and effectively determine the level of their work on self-development of their pupils.

Using Children's Literature as a Basis for the Dramatic and Educational Process in Nursery Schools

The Framework Education Programme for Preschool Education is a legislative curriculum document which establishes the basic requirements for the state preschool education. The educational objectives and requirements are binding for the teachers. However, the way in which those objectives and requirements are met, is fully in the hands of each nursery school. This diploma thesis illustrates one of the possible ways of educating preschool children, namely the dramatic education. The dramatic education is presented here not only as an educational method but also as a style of pedagogical work. This particular style respects individuality and originality of each child with the intention of developing his/her potentials and with the effort to equip the child with necessary social skills. The practical part of the diploma thesis offers insight into the authentic dramatic and educational process which explores topics of human life. During this process, each child goes through a full-fledged personal and social development by means of dramatic activities, which are based on topics of literary text
Personal and social education as part of further education of kindergarten teachers

This thesis deals with the personal and social development of preschool teachers as one of the possibilities for their further education. The theoretical part describes the current available types of professional competencies of current preschool teachers and focuses on their professional development through personal and social education (PSE). The aim of the empirical part is to create, implement and reflect short-term practical training for kindergarten teachers in selected topics of personal and social education through a form of action research. Selected topics (issue of rules in kindergarten, communication and mental hygiene) came from a questionnaire of interest in education issues of PSE. The aim of the course is skills training and improving of professional competence of teachers in selected areas through self-experience activities. Also the course leads teachers to think about appropriate solutions of problematic educational situations through joint discussion, sharing of professional experiences, reflection and self-reflection of teachers. Experience and reflective teaching methods and its benefit for the teacher and pupils

The aim of the work is to improve the quality of teaching. The work points to the possibility of using action teacher research in an effort to implement innovations in the field of teaching methods for younger school age students and at the same time the development of their own professional competencies. It justifies the contribution of activating experiential and reflective methods for pupils in integrating the goals of the curriculum in the field of social science topics and the goals of personal and social education. The theoretical part maps the professional background of closely related topics such as teacher professional competencies, development of primary school teachers, innovative teaching methods, personality concepts, activation methods, experiential learning, experiential pedagogy, action teacher research, reflection and self-reflection. It also maps the background for experiential and reflective methods with support on the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education. The elements of Drama in Education in the lessons World of Human

In this diploma thesis is focus on Drama in Education, which is used mainly in the lessons of the World of Human with overlap into other education. The topic of the diploma thesis was to improve the relations between pupils and thus to influence the climate in the classroom. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focus on the content and specific objectives of Drama in Education. It describes in more details the methods and techniques of Drama in Education. In the practical part, is presented a methodical proposal of lessons for students of the 2nd grade of primary school. Each lesson consists of three parts - planning of a lesson, implementation of topic and subsequent reflection. The first topic relates to friendship, the second one relates to class climate, the third is about hurting and the fourth is about bragging. In the lessons plans are used and tried several drama education methods and techniques, which could give the answer to research question. In the empirical part are present two questionnaires. The first questionnaire was given to pupils before the drama lessons and the second questionnaire after the completion of all four lessons.
